I added keywords and did not follow many people. What happened?
1) twa.lk processes new keywords on the next update. Paid accounts are updated are hourly. Trial accounts are updated are every 5 hours.
2) Your keyword may be obscure or have a low volume of people tweeting your keyword.
I did not follow all people that mentioned my keywords during the last update, why?
twa.lk must limit the number of people you follow on each update to protect your account. Twitter has rules regarding the usage of their services and twa.lk respects those rules.
My keywords were paused.
If your account has been inactive (ie. you haven't logged in) for over 2 months, we will "pause" your account. This helps us maintain twa.lk for active users and keeps thing moving quickly for everyone else. Don't worry, when you log back in, you can "un-pause" your account.
Free Trial accounts?
Free 7-day trial accounts are available to all new members. After the 7-day trial period, trial accounts are automatically upgraded to the Bronze package unless you upgrade or cancel manually.
If you do not wish to continue with twa.lk after the initial trial period, please remember to cancel your account within the first 7 days.
Making Money from twa.lk?
twa.lk works with a number of ad networks as well as direct advertisers to display ads on links you share. Unintrusive, these are presented in a peel-over at the top corner of the screen.
Each time someone clicks on one of the ads in this peel-over, you make money. You can monitor your earnings through your user panel.
How many people can I follow?
Twitter has defined their own parameters on the amount of people you are allowed to follow. As a general rule, the closer you are to 1 follower for everyone you follow, the better.
twa.lk has been built with this in mind to help you build and retain the most active follower base that is relevant to you. We do this through a comprehensive set of user settings and features, which are explained below.
Grow
Your keywords are the starting point to growing your network. The more you have, the better.
twa.lk users are given the ability to follow people through keywords, #hashtags as well as @user and cross-follow.
Auto-unfollow
You can set twa.lk to unfollow people based on the following criteria;
- Inactive twitterers (haven't tweeted for "X" days)
- Don't follow you back within "X" days
Influence
As well as posting your own tweets, twa.lk gives you the added functionality of being a news resource for you. By selecting one of your keywords from the drop-down menu, twa.lk will provide you with the latest and most relevant articles to send from across the web.
Shorten
The twa.lk URL shortener lets you easily manage links and monitor. Paid users will also be able to earn revenue from our integrated ad network through these links.
Manage
Advanced settings allow users to monitor their earnings, clicks, keywords and more from the easy-to-use interface.
